My name is Andrew,a 32 Year old who lives to serve my savior, Jesus Christ. I graduated Murray State University in Murray KY with an organizational communication major in May of 2001 and I currently reside in Central VA. My main hobby is photography. I have 3 still cameras, 2 Sony Handycam camcorders , and 3 digital cameras (which took the pictures you will see on this site.) I have loved taking pictures ever since I was a little kid. My first camera was a Fisher Price camera made by Kodak. Those of you who grew up in the '80s might remember this!! The Sony DSC-T900 is the camera I am currently using. Collecting Antique and Best Logo padlocks is another hobby of mine. see the photo galleries for some photos of some of my locks. Computers is another thing that I really enjoy. Mac is my computer of choice. APPLE ROCKS! I also enjoy the outdoors and driving. I enjoy driving so much, i had to do it professionally for 3 years. I have 2 vehicles. I have a 1997 Ford Ranger, which I have put over 240,000 miles on (yes, I put ALL the miles on it!) It has been a great truck, been all over the country, and still runs great!! I also have a 2002 Yamaha Vino scooter which is in storage and needs to come out!! As far as a career, I am currently with Norfolk Southern Railway working as a conductor. Before this railroad career, I drove truck for 3 years. It was my dream to drive a truck, I did it, took ALOT of photos, so now it is time to mess around with trains! As far as my relationship status, I AM MARRIED NOW!!! to a beautiful woman named Melinda. She is from Lynchburg VA and I met her in my travels in aug of 2003. We met off of US 501 at the James River foot bridge which links US 501 to the Appalachian Trail. We got engaged in late October and got married on April 24th.. She is a very attractive woman (pictured above) and I love her very much, she is the love I waited for all my life. Now you know a little bit about me!!!! What is Diesel Ducy? In case you are wondering what Diesel Ducy is, read on. . Diesel Ducy is a matchbox #24 shunter engine I got back in 1979 which I have loved ever since then. As you can see, I had it with me on my 3rd birthday!! I can still remember going into the old Des Peres Missouri Kroger and buying it in 1979!! I named it Diesel Ducy!! Diesel Ducy goes EVERYWHERE I go, (actually he has recently been retired to my dresser) I have carried him in my pocket since 1979! Ok you get the picture, I have had him since 1979 and I am obsessed with him. There is a picture of him with me on my 3rd birthday below! I actually have 2 "dieselducys" the other one was originally yellow. The reason I fell in love with Diesel Ducy is because he was originally green and green was my favorite colour, so the newer train got the honor of being THE Diesel Ducy! As you can tell 99% of his original paint is now gone, and I engraved him with his name. I also repainted dieselducy 1 with blacklite and glow in the dark colors!
