About I am an elevator fan! Hi there, I am Andrew Reams, Elevator Enthusiast. Pioneer of elevator photography and founder of the YouTube elevator community. I am also an adult with autism, specifically Asperger’s syndrome. All my life I have struggled with the disorder and I believe I have successfully overcome it. It was not easy and I had a very rough time growing up with it. I was always picked on in school and if it was not for the love from my wonderful parents, I would not be where I am today. I have a wonderful family and a job at Norfolk Southern Railway as a freight conductor that I absolutely love. One of the characteristics of Asperger’s is fixations on stuff. Well, mine are elevators, locks, lighting, and trains. That is why I decided to start taking videos of elevators. I have loved elevators ever since I was a little kid and my first elevator ride was in the Famous Barr store in Des Peres, Missouri. Ever since then I’ve been hooked. In 1993 I took my first ever elevator video at the Hilton Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2006, I took my love of elevators to the internet and started sharing on YouTube. Thanks to all of you guys, elevaTOURS has over 100,000,000 views on YouTube and well-known all over the world. Learn My Story Here! The ElevaTOURS Story! I have filmed elevators since 1993.
